Filling station
filling stations for bulk materials such as powder, granulate, flakes or grains are custom-made. Simple as well as partially automated variants are available. The integration into a process control system, calibratable processing and installation with limited room heights are possible.
BIGBAG filling station
Our production program of BIGBAG filling stations leaves almost no wish unfulfilled, from simple profile tube constructions to automated filling including pallet dispensers and transport systems. Where space and working conditions are restricted, there are a number of adaptation possibilities, such as the receiving device for the BIGBAG loops.
Further equipment options
- level limit switch as overfill protection
- quick release or swivel loop holders
- one-hand bag buckle or inflatable sleeve for clamping the inlet
- station movable by forklift or on rollers
- suction unit
- vibrating table
- weighing technology and evaluation electronics
- platform scale also as pit scale
- U-weigher (loading and unloading via EGU)
- weighing frame
- load cells for suspended weighing
- pneumatic, electric or hydraulic height adjustment
- filling adapter e.g. for octabin, container or barrel filling
Container filling station
container filling stations are manufactured as simple profile tube constructions with manual lifting and lowering of the filling head as well as in an automated version with electric spindle lifting gear, pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder. Instead of moving the filling head, the container can also be lifted e.g. by means of a scissor lift table.
Further equipment options
- centering stops with/without position sensing
- different dosing devices
- sealing to the container inlet by means of inflatable sleeve or sealing plate (also with contact pressure monitoring)
- level limit switch as overfill protection
- station movable by forklift or on rollers
- suction unit
- vibrating table
- lifting table
- load cells and evaluation electronics
Barrel filling station
manufactures both simple barrel filling stations and fully automated barrel filling stations for bulk materials. The simple stations are stationary and mobile small units, where the barrels are fed and removed manually one by one. The lowering of the down pipe with the filling head can be done manually, electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically from above or by means of a lifting table from below.
The drum feed is realized by a roller conveyor. After positioning by means of centering stops, the filling head is moved into or over the barrel depending on the selected sealing method. Either the inflatable sleeve seals from inside to outside or the filling lid with sealing plate seals from above. The roller conveyor system can be extended as required to transport the filled drums away.
Further equipment options
- centering stops with/without position sensing
- different dosing devices
- sealing to the drum inlet by means of inflatable sleeve or sealing plate (also with contact pressure monitoring)
- level limit switch as overfill protection
- suction unit
- vibrating table
- lifting table
- load cells and evaluation electronics
Combination filling station
The greatest possible flexibility is also a priority when filling containers. Frequently, different types of containers, with different filling weights and various products with different properties are to be filled. If these are sales products, calibration is usually required. In order to meet all these requirements, has planned, designed and manufactured countless combination variants over the years – always customer-specific and always process-oriented.
With a central lifting column, access is possible from three sides. A pallet scale with high torsional stiffness, specially designed by , enables the filling of drums, octabins, containers and BIGBAGs with strongly varying weights without the need to remove the containers with a forklift truck – the container removal is possible with a hand pallet truck.
A fully automatic control system allows the integration into a process control system. Depending on the type of container to be filled, the filling head is equipped with an inflatable sleeve or a filling lid and initiators for sealing. In older industrial buildings the available room height often plays an important role. If all possibilities to reduce the overall height have already been taken into account in the design, the construction of a pit (here with integrated scales and vibrating station) can also be a good solution.
Automated filling station
With automated filling stations, only the BIGBAG is manually hooked into the loop holders and the filled BIGBAG is extended at the unloading point. All further processes run automatically if desired:
- pallet feed to the filling position
- ventilation and venting of the inflatable sleeve
- move BIGBAG to filling position
- control exhaust air flaps
- inflate BIGBAG
- control of the dosing process
- filling by means of scales (also calibratable)
- level limit switch as overfill protection
- vibrating the BIGBAG (to compress the product, break the cone, faster outgassing)
- automatic swinging out of the holding hooks and release of the BIGBAG loops
- transport of the filled BIGBAG by roller conveyor system if required
- transfer of the filling data to the DCS
